  • You can file a claim 24/7 via our mobile app, customer portal, or claims hotline. The process typically follows three steps:

    • Report: Submit details and photos of the incident immediately.

    • Review: An adjuster will assess the damage and coverage.

    • Resolution: Once approved, payment is issued. Simple claims can be settled in 48–72 hours, while complex cases may take several weeks.

  • Your premium is calculated based on risk factors such as your location, claims history, and coverage limits. However, there are several ways to lower your rate:

    • Bundling: Combine policies (e.g., Home & Auto) for a multi-policy discount.

    • Safety: Discounts are often available for installed security systems or safe driving records.

    • Payment: Pay annually rather than monthly to avoid installment fees.

  • A deductible is the amount of money you agree to pay out-of-pocket before your insurance coverage kicks in.

    • Example: If you have a $1,000 deductible and $5,000 in damages, you pay $1,000, and we pay the remaining $4,000.

    • Note: Generally, choosing a higher deductible will lower your monthly premium, while a lower deductible will increase it.

  • You are in control of your policy. Most modifications (like adding a driver or changing an address) can be done instantly through your online account.

    • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time by contacting customer support.

    • Refunds: If you paid in full, you will typically receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your policy term.
